Providing Proof of Vaccination

Updated January 24th, 2022.

The Province of Ontario has implemented a new policy requiring ENHANCED proof of vaccination in certain "high risk" settings. These locations include INDOOR sports facilities and post-secondary institutions such as Universities. Proof of vaccination is not required for OUTDOOR sports at other outdoor locations.

For all of our Fall outdoor activities, all participants must meet the proof of vaccination required at the location of the game or activity. The proof of vaccination requirements varies from location to location.

Proof of Vaccination Requirements for Each Location

We have listed the requirements for each of the venues we will be using for our programming during the Winter season (January-March) season. Please remember that at the venues that do require proof of vaccination and/or a daily COVID checklist, the proof must be logged with the institution, NOT with Footy Sevens, Volley Sixes or Li'l Sambas.

Some FAQs

What happens if I arrive at a venue and have not confirmed that I have completed that venue's requirements?

No participant will be allowed to participate or enter the venue without attesting that they have completed all of the requirements for that location. We will not take responsibility or offer credit or refund for any participant or team who cannot participate because they have failed to complete the requirements for that venue.

Can we make a request for all of our games to be at a venue that does not require vaccination?

Unless a league specifically says that it is only played at one venue, we cannot guarantee that any team or player will not have any games at any specific venue.

When do these requirements start?
