GAME FORMAT
Teams compete on Offence or Defence for points. Points are scored by catching the disc inside the opposing teams endzone. The team with the most points at the end of the game is declared the winner.
Teams are awarded 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie and 0 points for a loss. Tie breakers begin with head to head result(s), +/- differential, points for and finally points against.
This league is self-refereed and players on the field are expected to call fouls.
TEAM COMPOSITION
Teams are comprised of 4 players on the field.
Teams must field at least 1 male and 1 female player. Teams must maintain a minimum ratio of 3 men and 1 woman on the field at all times.
Teams must field 3 players minimum for the game to proceed.
DEFAULTS
We ask that all teams do their best to be at their designated field 10 minutes before their scheduled match time in order to avoid delays.
If after 15 minutes teams do not meet the player requirements they will forfeit the entire match.
Defaults are recorded as 3-0 against the team that defaults.
GENERAL GAME RULES
Each team begins at the back of the endzone on their respective end of the field. The disc is then pulled by the defensive team to start the game.
The offence has 10 seconds to complete each pass. This time period will be counted by a player on the defence.
The disc may be thrown/passed to a teammate in any direction. Players may pivot but are not allowed to run/walk with the disc.
Any incomplete pass results in the loss of possession.
After every score, the play will restart with the scoring team pulling to the opposing team.
Games can end in a tie during the regular season.
STANDINGS
Standings will updated weekly to reflect the results and points tally of the teams in the league.
